Second Phase of Farmer Registration Underway

The Government of Kenya, through the Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with County Governments, has rolled out the *second phase of farmer registration* under the *Food Systems Resilience Project (FSRP)*.

 

Over the next two weeks, *7 agripreneurs per ward* will be on the ground to register farmers into the *Kenya Integrated Agriculture Management Information System (KIAMIS)*. The exercise targets *over 500,000 new farmers nationwide*, ensuring that more households can benefit from streamlined services.

 

Through KIAMIS, farmers will be able to access essential farm inputs at *subsidised rates*, strengthening food security and boosting productivity.
